Asian Portal: Continued
Asian Portal is a classic cross country run because it contains things that all runners, novice and expert alike, adore. The first of these things and the one that stands out the most is the fact that you get to actually cut through the woods of someone's property. No other XC run allows runners to go through driveways, yards, and backyards of everyday neighbors to PHS. The greatest part, perhaps, is that they are even unaware you are doing this!
The next amazingly amazing aspect of this expedition is the fact that the run isn't set in stone. Yes, believe it. No two Asian Portal runs are the same. You may now ask "how can it be called a run when there are different variations?" Well, the fact is that it is awesome, that's why. Some Asian Portals may last two miles, while others last four miles. Some go down street X, some street Y, and some only stop at driveway Z and turn around. Yes, this race is entirely up to you how you want to run it.
